What do you remember about the USSR? OK, probably this is the wrong question. We must ask you: “Do you remember the country called the USSR?” Young guys might not answer you, but people who are over 30 will tell you: “USSR was the main rival of the United States; that was the country where white bears and people who loved drinking vodka much lived”. And certainly, they will be mistaken – Soviet Union united many nations, many republics (now, separate countries). Many of travelers from Europe, Asia and both Americas used to come to the USSR, the country which existed till 1991. They made friends, and Russians gave them funky souvenirs. One of them was the CCCP T-shirt. That time this stuff was mostly white and red.
Yes, the USSR does not exist anymore — it has dissolved for different countries, but still people remember those times with warmth. Still you can order the CCCP T-shirt (now very bright and made perfectly). You can wash it in a washing machine and the “symbols of communism” (star, sickle and hammer) will not become blurred. If you have good friends and simply people you mix with in the former Soviet Union (it does not matter where – Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, etc.), you can always buy the CCCP T-shirt and come to see them wearing it. It will be the coolest surprise for your buddies!
However, not many guys now travel to the territory of that huge and powerful country that was doing a lot for many years to build socialism and then communism. The journey is pretty expensive. Cheer up! You can always use online video chats to mix with your friends from Russia (the country that follows the traditions of former Soviet Union), Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Moldova, etc. Just put the CCCP T-shirt on and call your mates. They will see you wearing it and smile. This T-shirt will let them recalling some curious, even weird things from their socialist past, and they will share with you their fantastically curious stories! You will never find any of these true stories in books — former soviets will tell them! It will be a unique knowledge and a great fun.
